Graduation

We can't believe its been year but it has. LAst Year Greg (Uncle Greg to Emily) graduated with his MA and this year it was the turn of Uncle Andrew and Tim. (Check back to October 14th last year, wow has she grown!)
No I wasn't graduating, just saving my hair from the drizzle!

Gid, Tim (who graduated with a BA in Theology) and J ...say nothing about height!

Once Grandpa took his hat off smiles of recognition arrived.
Andrew (Uncle Andrew to Emily) graduated with distinction in his MA.

All smiles, what a lovely day.

Mmmmmm

Emily and I had a great day, the weather was great and it was fab to be outdoors.
Sadly our friend lost his battle with cancer today. I am not sure what to write, we didn't know him amazingly well, but well enough to know that he was a great guy and he will be missed by many.

All better, nearly

Emily really is on the mend now and life it getting back to it's usual form of mayhem and busyness. (is that an i or y or will it be business!)We have been to Dunham Massey to kick the leaves that are falling, o..... it is such a beautiful place and especially at this time of year. We didn't do much leaf kicking but we had lots of fun!Today for those month counters is Emily's 15 month birthday. We can't believe how quickly time has flown by and how quickly Emily is learning new things. Jamie has been working very hard trying to teach her to drink her milk by herself. What do you think of her progress?

Her personality is really starting to show. She is great at head shaking to tell us no and she has a real guffaw, chuckle and impish streak. (Like Mummy or Daddy?) She has also learnt to say tea and duck. If you ask her what sound an elephant makes she makes blowing sounds! When we tell her we are going in the car she makes brum brum noises. This age is so good!

Today she fell and hit her mouth on the edge of our bed and split her lip. Oh dear.

Mum and Dad are back from Alaska, we hope to see them when we go to visit Belfast at half term (wow 2 weeks away!!!!!!) Mum and Dad Mc are in Turkey for a conference. Our parents have such wonderful opportunities with their work and church.

Well, another installment is done, it is off to bed for me; doesn't she look peaceful?!
